Im Laufe Ihrer 11 bisher veröffentlichten Alben haben sich MYSTIC PROPHECY einen festen Platz der nationalen wie internationalen Szene, in der obersten Liga gesichert. Dem internationalen Erfolg ihres letzten Albums METAL DIVISION galt es nun noch eins draufzusetzen. Das weckt natürlich das Interesse des Schreibenden und lässt die Antennen auf Empfang gestellt. Die Erwartungshaltung ist natürlich dementsprechend. Die Frage stellt sich .. können Sie das hohe Niveau halten? Hier mal ein ganz fettes JA. HELLRIOT setzt die Erfolgsgeschichte fort. Die Rezeptur ist vorgegeben, die Zutaten wurden neu gemischt. Krachende Gitarren, eine voluminöse Wall of Sound, und vor allem der darin hervorragend eingebettete Gesang von Vokalist R.D. Liapakis. Hervorzuheben ist auch die exzellente Arbeit an den Drums, die der ganzen Fuhre den nötigen und druckvollen Schub verleiht. So genug der Vorworte… wir wollen was auf die Ohren. Also rein mit dem Scheibchen in den Player… aber bitte ganz vorsichtig.
Mit dem Opener und Main Title HELLRIOT kommt der Zug in Bewegung. UND WIE. Brachial, Uptempo, keine Gefangenen, und durchzogen, trotz der Härte, mit den passenden Melodiebögen. Ein Track aus einem Guss.
UNHOLY HELL.. wird mit Einer schweren Glocke eingeläutet. Das Tempo etwas reduziert, Mystisch Rollend und stampfend baut der Song sich auf, untermalt von den Backing Vocals und der wummernden akzentuierten Gitarrenarbeit. 
DEMONS OF THE NIGHT startet wuchtig, und wird nach dem Weckruf, etwas melodiöser, luftiger, was der Power und dem Druck des Songs sehr gut zu Gesicht steht. Zum etwas Luftholen und doch ordentlich mitwippen. Gut gesetzte Solis… runden das ganze ab. 
METAL ATTACK startet ; wie sollte es anders sein; mit einem Gitarrenangriff der feinsten Art. Hier Sind wir Tempomässig wieder im mittleren bis oberen Bereich angekommen. Der Song ist DAS was der Titel verspricht eine METAL ATTACK
PARANOIA startet mit sägenden Riffs und dem passenden Chorus. Etwas dunkler Gehalten, schleppender, aber mit den richtigen Akzenten an den passenden Stellen. Der Gesang fast schon etwas hypnotisch.. Klasse. Einer meiner Favoritensongs. 
REVENGE AND FIRE holt uns wieder ins Uptempo , Nackenmuskulatur strapazierendes Hier und Jetzt zurück. Ansatzlos startet das Gitarrenfeuerwerk und hangelt sich im Laufe der Spielzeit von Höhepunkt zu Höhepunkt. Bei diesem Song fühlte ich mich powermässig an «We Rock» von Ronnie James Dio erinnert. Ein song der vom Ohr direkt in die Hüfte wandert. 
RISING WITH THE STORM… extrem gelungenes Intro, das in ein Gitarrengewitter mündet. Es darf ansatzlos weitergebangt werden. Hach eine Freude .. wie der Druck und die Melodien harmonieren. Alles auf den Punkt.
ROAD TO BABYLON mystischer wabernder Beginn, verhaltener Start, aber kontinuierlicher Aufbau was wieder in hervorragende Gitarrenarbeit gipfelt. Auch einer meiner Favoritensongs.
AZRAEL nach dem verspielten Intro.. geht’s mit voller Wucht zur Sache. Ein Song der durch die entsprechenden Tempi Wechsel glänzt, und den grandiosen Instrumentalparts gipfelt. 
CROSS THE LINE.. Wir bewegen uns wieder im Midtempo Bereich. Sehr gute Ansätze , aber irgendwas fehlt mir.
WORLD ON FIRE…. Ein grandioser Abschluss Song eines hervorragenden Albums. Hier werden nochmal alle Register gezogen, um den Song melodisch druckvoll und luftig zu gestalten… 

Fazit. Für Fans des guten melodischen HM ein absolutes Muss.. klassische Elemente des True Metal, hervorragende Arrangements und ein TOP Songwriting machen dieses Album zu einem Muss.

In the course of the 11 albums they have released so far, MYSTIC PROPHECY have secured a permanent place in the national and international scene, in the top league. The international success of their last album METAL DIVISION now had to be improved. Of course, this arouses the interest of writing and leaves the antennas set to receive. The expectation is therefore natural. The question arises.. CAN YOU KEEP THE HIGH LEVEL? Here's a big YES. Hellriot continues the success story. The recipe is given, the ingredients have been remixed. Crashing guitars, a voluminous wall of sound, and above all the excellently embedded vocals by vocalist R.D. liapakis to be highlighted is also the excellent work on the drums, which gives the whole load the necessary and powerful boost. So enough of the forewords… we want something for your ears. So put the disc in the player... but please be very careful. With the opener and main title, Hellriot gets the train moving. AND HOW. Brute, uptempo, no prisoners, and pulled through, despite the heaviness, with the right melodies. A track from a single source. UNHOLY HELL.. is heralded with a heavy bell. The tempo is somewhat reduced, the song builds up mystically rolling and stomping, accompanied by the backing vocals and the booming, accentuated guitar work. DEMONS OF THE NIGHT started powerfully, and after the wake-up call, it becomes a bit more melodic and airy, which suits the power and pressure of the song very well. To take a breath and still rock along properly. Well-placed solos... complete the whole thing. METAL ATTACK started ; How should it be different; with a guitar attack of the finest Art. Here we are back in the middle to upper range in terms of tempo. The song is what the title promises. A METAL ATTACK PARANOIA started with sawing riffs and the right chorus. A little darker content, more sluggish, but with the right accents in the right places. The vocals quickly become a bit hypnotic.. great. One of my favorite songs. REVENGE AND FIRE brings us back into uptempo, neck muscles straining here and now. The guitar fireworks started without a hitch and continued from climax to climax over the course of the season. This song reminded me of Ronnie James Dio's "We Rock" in terms of power. A song that goes straight from the ear to the hips. RISING WITH THE STORM... extremely successful intro, which ends in a guitar thunderstorm. You can continue banging without a hitch. Hach a pleasure .. how the pressure and the melodies harmonize. Everything to the point. ROAD TO BABYLON mystical wafting beginning, restrained start, but continuous development which again culminates excellently in guitar work. Also one of my favorite songs. AZRAEL after the playful intro.. it gets down to business with full force. A song that shines through the corresponding tempo changes, and the grandiose instrumental parts culminate. CROSS THE LINE.. We're moving in the mid-tempo range again. Very good ideas, but I'm missing something. WORLD ON FIRE…. A terrific closing song of an excellent album. Here all the stops are pulled out again to make the song melodically powerful and airy... 

Conclusion. An absolute must for fans of good melodic HM. Classic elements of true metal, excellent arrangements and a TOP songwriting make this album a must. I WILL PROPHECY MYSTICALLY.. THE SUCCESS STORY CONTINUES. Rating: ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED
