Nach 30 Jahren wollen es die Mannen von Czakan nochmal wissen. Zuerst beglückten sie uns im Februar 2023 mit einem Release Ihres Debüt Album «State of Confusion» . Dieses erschien 1989 und versprach eine internationale Karriere. Durch aus mir unbekannten Gründen, blieb es vorerst bei diesem Erstling. BIS JETZT. Nach 30 Jahren gibt’s das frische Werk « Unreal», und die Frage stellte sich: Konnten sie den jahrzehntelang eingefrorenen Spirit wieder erwecken. SIE KÖNNEN. Und das im unveränderten LINE UP von 1989. Vor mir liegt ein melodisches Hardrock Album das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Alles da wo es hingehört. Ob nun der mehrstimmige Background Gesang, der die Vocals nochmal unterstreicht, oder die gezielt, und der Stimmung der Songs entsprechende, Instrumentierung. Da passt alles wie eine bequemer Anzug … Ein Album aus einem Guss. Sehr gut gewählt auch die Mastering Technik von Rob Schmitt/24-96 Mastering die den Songs den richtigen Schliff verpassten. Detailliert auf einzelne Songs einzugehen das überlasse ich dem Ohr des geneigten Publikums. Allgemein ist anzumerken, das dieses Album einen mit auf die Reise nimmt… mal rockig bangend, mal mit dem Fuss wippend, oder auch andächtig lauschend, bei den ruhigeren und ausgefeilten Midtempo Nummern. Es wird nie anstrengend, nie langweilig. Eine wohl temperierte Fahrt durch die Gefühlswert. Ein Album das die Stimmung hebt wenn der Tag mal nicht so erfolgreich war. Und das in einer abwechslungsreichen Kompaktheit. Der richtige Soundtrack um im Sommer mit dem Cabrio die Welt zu entdecken, oder nach einem stressigen Tag, rockig, bei einem leckeren Kaltgetränk zu entspannen. Nun die Frage kann mit JA beantwortet werden… es ist möglich und bravourös Gelungen, nach 30 Jahren Abstinenz, so ein absolut klasse Werk aus der Taufe zu heben. Alles richtig gemacht ! Wem der klassische Hardrock in Stilrichtung Scorpions, Craaft, Bonfire, Frontline etc. nicht unbekannt ist, der wird es lieben. Und alle anderen sei empfohlen, entdeckt sie neu, und habt, wie ich, eure Freude dran.

After 30 years, the guys from Czakan want to do it again. First they delighted us in February 2023 with the release of their debut album «State of Confusion». This appeared in 1989 and promised an international career. For reasons unknown to me, it stayed with this debut for the time being. UNTIL NOW. After 30 years there is the fresh work "Unreal", and the question arose: could they awaken the spirit that had been frozen for decades. YOU CAN. And that in the unchanged LINE UP from 1989. In front of me is a melodic hard rock album that leaves nothing to be desired. Everything where it belongs. Whether the polyphonic background singing, which underlines the vocals again, or the targeted instrumentation that corresponds to the mood of the songs. Everything fits like a comfortable suit... An album from a single source. The mastering technique by Rob Schmitt/24-96 Mastering was also very well chosen, giving the songs the right polish. I leave it to the ears of the inclined audience to go into detail about individual songs. In general, it should be noted that this album takes you on a journey... sometimes rocking banging, sometimes tapping your foot, or listening devoutly to the quieter and more sophisticated mid-tempo numbers. It's never exhausting, never boring. A well-tempered ride through the feeling value. An album that lifts the mood when the day wasn't so successful. And that in a varied compactness. The right soundtrack to discover the world in a convertible in summer, or to relax after a stressful day, rocking, with a delicious cold drink. Well the question can be answered YES... it is possible and bravura After 30 years of abstinence, we succeeded in launching such an absolutely great work. Everything done right ! Those who are not unfamiliar with classic hard rock in the style of Scorpions, Craaft, Bonfire, Frontline etc. will love it. And everyone else is recommended, rediscover them and enjoy them like I did.
